With an objective to update professionals in regulatory agencies, pharmaceutical industry and distribution network about advances in the area of Pharmacotherapeutics, The All India Drugs Controller Officers' Confederation (AIDCOC) is going to organise its 11th annual meet 'The AIDCOC Convention 2008' from April 26 to 27, 2008 at Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Goregaon (E), Mumbai.
This time the convention would be hosted by Maharastra State's Drugs Inspectors' Welfare Association (DIWA) and the FDA Class I Officers' Association. The theme of the convention has been decided as 'Better Healthcare through Innovations in Pharmaceuticals'.
In an interaction with Pharmabiz, Atul Kumar Nasa, vice president (Delhi), AIDCOC said that the main area of concerns in this convention would be India's recent achievement at an international level in terms of providing cost effective quality medicines through innovations in processes with optimum use of resources.
"Besides, the convention would also focus on government's various policies and legislative initiatives and its impacts on consumers" he added.
