The Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturers' Organisation of India (AMMOI), in association with the Kerala State Medicinal Plants Board, organized an exhibition of medicinal plants and workshop in Thrissur, Kerala, recently.

Conducted on August 9, more than 300 farmers and various stakeholders related to the Ayurveda industry participated in the programme. The exhibition cum workshop was inaugurated by V V Raghavan, Member of Parliament and former Agricultural minister for Kerala.

The event also included free distribution of medicinal plants and herbs to farmers. K V Peter, vice chancellor of the Kerala Agricultural University inaugurated the exhibition, in the presence of AMMOI General secretary Dr. D Ramanathan, N Gopinathan, chief executive of Kerala State Medicinal Plants Board etc. informed AMMOI sources.
