Asia Business Forum is conducting an annual 'Lab Design Asia Conference 2006', at Marina Mandarin Hotel, Singapore, from 28-29 August 2006.

This two day practical conference aims to equip participants with strategies and skills needed to design, and build renovate and operate successful laboratories. It broadly covers subjects like laboratories aims and objectives, regulatory standards and OHS requirements, workflow analysis for efficient design, systems for flexibility and durability, efficiency through instrumentation and automation, minimising risk during change etc.

The conference is divided into 7 to 8 session with case studies and will have guest lectures by experts from reputed institutions like Melbourne Pathology Australia, Sigma Pharmaceuticals Australia, Koios, Lilly system Biology, National University Hospital, National University of Singapore, Schering Plough, Singapore General hospital, Tan Tock Seng hospital, Teamsek Life Sciences Laboratory, Schering Plough, Biosecurity and Biocontainment International Consultants, Australia Kewaunee Labway Asia.

A panel discussion on techniques in performing better in audits, essential requirement for good lab practice, the necessary accreditation for world class standards and I.P protection during ISO audits is one highlight of the conference.
