APCSI to hold 9th annual conference on June 12, 13

The AP Chapter of Cardiological Society of India (APCSI) is organizing its 9th annual conference at Hyderabad on 12 and 13 of June 2004.

The theme of this scientific conference is 'Recent advances in Cardiovascular therapy,' which is of interest to the practitioners, physicians, paediatricians and cardiologists. In addition to the lectures, there will be sessions on ECG interpretation, case discussions and free paper presentations.

The conference will discuss issues such as- recent advances in acute coronary syndromes, drug eluting agents, dyslipedemias and paediatric cardiology. There will be a symposium on heart failure.

Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy, chief minister of Andhra Pradesh will inaugurate the conference and prof Kakarla Subba Rao, director / vice-chancellor, Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) to be the guest of honour.

About 250 delegates from AP and neighbouring states are expected to attend the conference.
