Apollo Group of Hospitals, the leading healthcare services provider in Asia, celebrated its 25th anniversary in Chennai yesterday. This celebration marks the Apollo Groups initiatives in reaching out to 20 million lives over the last 25 years and further reiterated their goal towards reaching out to a billion lives over the next 25 years.

Apollo's journey of providing excellence in healthcare began in 1983 as a 150-bed hospital in Chennai. Celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Apollo Group is an epic saga of success, achievement and realization of one man's dream which includes over 10,000 beds across 43 hospitals in India and overseas. The group presence includes neighbourhood diagnostic clinics, national network of Apollo Pharmacies, medical BPO and health insurance services, clinical research divisions, all working on the cutting edge of medical science combined with the ability in taking quality healthcare across the length and breadth of India.
