Apollo Hospitals opens 400-bed multi-specialty Quaternary Care hospital in Ahmedabad
Apollo Hospitals Group has opened its latest hospital in Ahmedabad. Built with an investment of Rs. 130.81 crore, the 400-bed Apollo Ahmedabad will provide treatment facilities in 52 medical specialties and will be the first Quaternary Care Hospital (having focus on tertiary care healthcare services as well as research facilities) in Gujarat.
The hospital will be equipped with latest generation diagnostic and treatment facilities, 24-hour pharmacy, comprehensive laboratory services & blood bank and will be connected to Apollo's National Network of Emergency Services through the toll free number 1066. The center will not only supplement the healthcare infrastructure of Gujarat but also holds the promise to become the central healthcare hub for the entire Western India region, covering Rajasthan and parts of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
The hospital was inaugurated by Shri L. K. Advani, Hon'ble Deputy Prime Minister and Union Home Minister in the distinguished presence of Shri Narendra Modi, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat and Shri I. K. Jadeja, Hon'ble Minister of Health - Gujarat. Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Chairman - Apollo Hospitals Group was also present at the occasion.
