Apollo Consulting Services, the consulting wing of the Apollo Hospitals group and Netherlands-based, Medicover Investment B.V, have signed an agreement for setting up a full-scale private hospital in Warsaw, Poland.
Apollo Consulting Services will provide consulting support for both the planning and further operation, while Medicover will focus to develop the private hospital market in Poland. Medicover has launched the first phase of the project by building a hospital in Warsaw and is offering 200 beds by the end of second phase of the project.

Medicover is the leading private healthcare service company in Central and Eastern Europe, with activities in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Estonia and Romania and also operates a laboratory diagnostics service in Poland and Romania. The company had revenue of € 42.9 million in the last year.
