Apollo Hospitals to commence Global Nurse Programme to supply nurses to US, Australia, Gulf, Singapore, Malaysia

Apollo Group of Hospitals has launched Apollo International Hospital Services to cater to the emerging international opportunities for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) for hospitals abroad and also placing professionals in the medical, nursing and paramedical area overseas.

According to an official press release issued here on Sunday, several hospital chains in USA and UK have approached Apollo for their manpower requirements, especially the nurses. To cater to these needs, Apollo Group has initiated Global Nurse Program (GNP) to train and place nurses in USA, UK, Australia, Middle-East, Singapore and Malaysia. GNP imparts comprehensive clinical training in addition to value added training covering cultural adaptation, personal grooming, and etiquette to suit global requirements. Specialised training for CGFNS and TOEFL/TSE also form part of the programme.

The tremendous opportunities abroad for the paramedical professionals like physiotherapists, lab technicians, respiratory therapists etc is also being catered to through specialised training and placement programs.

The release claimed that the Group has already succeeded in placing 25 nurses in one of the biggest hospital chain of United Kingdom. This Hospital Chain has appreciated the quality of nurses and the Apollo training centers, it said and added that yet another batch is ready for placement in UK. It also said that three biggest hospital chains of USA are coming to Apollo Group of Hospitals for recruitment of nurses. There is a humongous opportunity for 200 CGFNS qualified nurses in United States of America immediately, it said.
