Apollo's multi specialty hospital in Bilaspur Inaugurated

The Apollo Hospitals group has inaugurated its latest state-of-the-art multi specialty hospital in Bilaspur. The Apollo Hospital Bilaspur will serve as a world-class tertiary care hospital equipped with over 270 beds, 34 super-specialties, 12 ultra-modern operation theatres, 24-hour pharmacy, imported state-of-the-art equipment and medical and para-medical staff trained by the Apollo Hospitals.

Built over a sprawling area of 17 acres Apollo Hospitals, Bilaspur will provide one-stop comprehensive healthcare facilities and is claimed to be a very valuable addition to the resources of the newly founded state of Chhatisgarh. The hospital has come up as an advanced medical centre with capabilities to treat patients in over 34 super-specialties. It would offer specialised treatment facilities, supplemented with 24-hour pharmacy, 12 operation theatres, 43 ICU beds, centrally air conditioned building and medical staff trained as per Apollo's standards. Besides, it will also offer the latest diagnostic services like CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Endoscopy and will also provide certain value added services like Preventive Health Checks and extensive 24-hour emergency services etc.

The hospital epitomises Apollo's model of providing quality healthcare facilities to each region in the country and matching world standards for the same. It will play a pivotal role in meeting the medical needs of the region and will essentially serve the states of Chhatisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, he further stated.

The Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd. (AHEL) was formed with the merger of IHCL (Indian Hospitals Corporation Ltd.), DHCL (Deccan Hospitals Corporation Ltd.) and OSHL (Om Sindoor Hotels Ltd.). The enterprise today comprises of a network of 19 hospitals, over 4,000 beds, 10 primary clinics and over 70 pharmacies, making it the single largest healthcare conglomerate in South Asia. The conglomerate has an aggregated turnover of Rs. 500 crore.
