Apollo Telemedicine inks pact with Mantri Developers to offer service in apartments

For the first time in India, Mantri Developers Pvt. Ltd. has tied up with Apollo Hospitals Ltd. to provide quality health care services through Telemedicine to residents of select Mantri homes for day and night. Residents will now be able to obtain instant diagnosis from an expert panel of doctors associated with Apollo Hospitals. The concept is introduced for the first time in India in a residential complex at Mantri Espana a super luxury residential complex located at Sarjapur, Outer Ring Road, Bangalore.

Mantri Espana is one of India's most sought after residential compex offering luxury and lifestyle homes. Telemedicine will provide instant access to medical facilities at the click of a button. Ultra modern health care unit is set up with all the required equipments to connect to Apollo Hospital.

Apollo Hospitals, the third largest healthcare group in the world will provide round the clock health care services to the residents in certain Mantri properties in the comfort of their own apartments using state of the art Information and Communication Technology. The Apollo Telemedicine Networking Foundation (ATNF), the largest and oldest multi- specialty Telemedicine network in the country with 103 peripheral units including 9 located overseas, has, during the last 7 years, overseen more than 36,000 teleconsultations.

ATNF will provide cost effective customized and need based tele-health solutions for residents in up market Mantri developments. An advanced telemedicine unit will be set up in Mantri Espana enabling doctors from Apollo Hospitals to virtually examine patients from a distance, through video conferencing. Clinical information, including blood pressure, heart sounds, etc can be transmitted from the telemedicine centre. Remote ECG monitoring can also be made available. Post diagnosis, medicines will be prescribed and supplied and ongoing treatments maintained through tele-consultations.
