Aptar Pharma, world leader in the development and manufacturing of nasal and pulmonary drug delivery devices has announced its expansion plans in India with the opening of a new facility near Mumbai. The facility  includes an ISO 7 clean room where main production will focus on the DF30 metering valve platform for pMDIs and on spray pump assembly.

The Indian operations of Aptar Pharma was set up in 1999 in Mumbai, and it is currently the market leader in the country in the area of innovative and proven aerosol, spray and dispensing systems for the pharma biotech companies here.

The new facility is located at Rabale, Navi Mumbai and was inaugurated by Ajit Singh, chairman, ACG Worldwide.
