Arrow Coated Products Ltd (ACPL) has entered into an exclusive supply co-operation agreement with Tsukioka Film Pharma Company Ltd, a company incorporated in Japan for developing edible soluble filmstrips containing APIs, vaccines, nutraceuticals and other remedies taken together "ODF Products" for dosing by mouth or otherwise, as per Arrow's patented technology "Embedded Water Soluble Film (WSF)".

Tsukioka Film Pharma is a health science company, manufacturing a wide range of pharmaceutical formulations as edible soluble film strips, which is a 142.5 million, Japanese yen company, having an US FDA plant in Japan.

Arrow owns two more patents I.e. drug delivery systems & matrix which is part of health and hygiene cluster of patents.

Relationship with Tsukioka is important for Arrow, as this will lead the MMS (Mouth Melting Strip Division) into pharma, health and hygiene sector. Arrow has been test marketing MMS oral hygiene product, under the brand name Meltz - Super Thin Mints for close to a year now, in various states of India and  plans to officially launch the product in the first quarter of the coming financial year. Oral drug delivery system using MMS technology has now been established as a leading and most effective method of drug delivery. This method has seen a huge demand in India, as well as in developed markets, worldwide.

The company now plans to extensively broaden its health care portfolio, through this agreement ACPL's brand portfolio was initially restricted to only water soluble film's B2B customers base.

Promoters of ACPL are holding over 74 per cent in paid up capital. Its UK based subsidiary - Global Network UK is distributor in USA, Switzerland, Germany and Brazil. Arrow’s manufacturing unit at Ankleshwar is engaged in manufacturing of biodegradable water-soluble film, security thread. It is the only manufacturer of water soluble films in India, (world wide only three including Arrow).
