AstraZeneca Pharma reported good performance during the third quarter ended September 2005. Its net profit increased by 49.8 per cent to Rs 10.53 crore from Rs 7.03 crore in the corresponding period of last year. The net sales increased by 20.7 per cent to Rs 56.78 crore from Rs 47.04 crore. With smart improvement in profitability, its earning per share moved up to Rs 21.07 from Rs 14.06 in the last period.
