Aurobindo Pharma Limited has received the approval for its Abbreviated New Drug Submission cefuroxime axetil tablets 250mg and 500mg from Health Canada.
Cefuroxime axetil tablets 250mg and 500mg is the generic equivalent of GlaxoSmithKline Inc, Canada's Ceftin tablets 250mg and 500mg. Cefuroxime axetil tablets are indicated for the treatment of patients with mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms and falls under the antibiotic segment.
This is Aurobindo's eighth product approval from Health Canada.
