Aurobindo Pharma Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Aurobindo Pharma Pty Ltd has received approval from Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), Government of Australia for the registration of amlodipine besylate tablets 5mg & 10mg.
Amlodipine besylate tablets fall under the Central Nervous System (CNS) therapeutic segment and is indicated for the first line treatment of hypertension and can be used the sole agent to control blood pressure in the majority of patients.
This is Aurobindo's fourth approval from TGA, Australia, a company release said.
