Aurobindo Pharma has received final approvals from the US FDA for 2 ANDAs namely ceftriaxone for injection USP 250mg, 1g, 2g and ceftriaxone for injection USP 10g pharmacy bulk pack. These are cephalosporins products under the anti-infective segment.

This is the first product approval of the sterile injectable formulation line of Unit VIB, situated in Hyderabad. This its second sterile injectable facility besides the facility of cephazone JV in the State of California, USA approved by US FDA.

Earlier the Unit VI-B oral cephalosporins formulation line has been accorded the approval by US FDA. Aurobindo now has 72 ANDAs approved by the US FDA.
