J W Balani resigned from the directorship of Ranbaxy Ltd at the company's meeting held today.

The Board of Direxctors decided to fill up the casual vacancy by appointing Shivinder Mohan Singh, as director. Shivinder Mohan Singh is also the managing director of the The Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre Ltd and is the joint managing director of Fortis Healthcare Ltd., claims the company release.
