Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals, Inc., the country's leading developer of nutraceuticals, announced the introduction of Altovis, a non-prescription dietary supplement that safely fights fatigue and gives the body needed energy. This proprietary, once-daily formulation contains nutrients that improve energy levels, mental acuity and brain function safely and gently.

According to National Institutes of Health, fatigue is a common condition, often caused by emotional stress, physical exertion, boredom or lack of sleep. Good nutrition is a key component to combat fatigue, as well as exercise and regular sleep. The National Sleep Foundation's 2002 Sleep in America poll found that more than one-third of Americans said they are so sleepy during the day it interferes with their activities at least a few days a month and one in six reported these symptoms a few days a week or more.

"Our demanding 24-7 lifestyle can drain the body of the physical and mental resources needed to meet each day's challenges," said Steve Warshak, founder of Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals. "No wonder fatigue is an extremely common and increasing complaint among men and women who need to stay alert to work, drive, or care for active children. We designed Altovis as a natural, gentle solution to the 'energy deficit."

Altovis consists of a proprietary formulation that includes cordyceps extract which is backed by more than 15 years of research showing it promotes vitality and stamina, preserves health and reduces fatigue. It also contains EPGC methylxanthine blend (a natural caffeine source derived from natural green tea leaf extract), panax ginseng, vinpocetine, B-complex vitamins, and other essential vitamins and minerals. These ingredients work in tandem to provide safe, long-lasting energy, rather than just a temporary boost.
