Bilcare bags OPPI Best Vendor Award in 2003

Bilcare Ltd has won the OPPI Best Vendor Award 2003 during the Organisation of Pharmaceutical producers of India (OPPI) Annual General Meeting (AGM) held recently in Mumbai. It is for the second consecutive time that the company is winning the award. A selected panel of judges from major pharma companies selected the award, which constituted a citation and plaque.

Commenting on the award Dr. Ajit Dangi, Director General, OPPI said, “It gives me great pleasure to congratulate Bilcare for achieving the unique distinction of winning this prestigious award for the second time in succession. It is a well-deserved honour and we hope Bilcare will continue this tradition”.

Mohan Bhandari, Managing Director, Bilcare Ltd, said, “This award is a recognition of the Bilcare thought. The OPPI award will boost the confidence of Team Bilcare in our quest to becoming global leaders”.

Bilcare has several firsts to its credit, including a Drug Master File with USFDA since 2000 for barrier films and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility conforming to cGMP norms. It is also one of the first organizations to have received the ISO 14001 and 9002 accreditations. Bilcare has presence in over 13 countries worldwide and has also setup a world class R&D centre near Pune.
