Sinhgad College of Pharmacy, Pune hosted a seminar last week on“Biotechnology an emerging frontier for Indian Pharmaceutical Industry”. Eminent personalities from research, academics and industry took part in the seminar.

Dr. S.N. Singh, Director of Intervet India Limited, was the chief guest of the function.

Other noted participants include Dr. Bhushan Patwardhan, Professor and Director, Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences, University of Pune; Dr Murali Sastry – Head Nanosience group, NCL, Pune; Dr Madhav Deo – Ex-Director Cancer Research Institute and vice president Moving Academy of Medical and Biomedicine.

The one-day seminar was sponsored by University of Pune.
