Breckenridge Pharmaceutical has entered into an agreement with PII (Pharmaceutics International. Inc.), Hunt Valley, Maryland, to develop and manufacture a generic HRT product. Breckenridge filed an ANDA with the FDA in early 2006 and expects to receive FDA approval and market the product in 2007.

Breckenridge has an aggressive product development programme and looks forward to adding more products to its ANDA portfolio during 2007, a company press release said.

Breckenridge Pharmaceutical is a privately held pharmaceutical marketing, research and development company founded in 1983 that markets a broad range of ValuBrand and generic prescription products in many therapeutic categories.

PII is a privately held contract development and manufacturing company based in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Founded in 1994, the company has grown to close to 300 employees by providing a high level of technical and customer services.
