CARE (Cardiac Research & Education) hospital is contributing towards research, adopting, and educating the latest developments in the field to the practicing professionals. Traditionally, patients with heart failure are treated with medical therapy. They continue to deteriorate and generally have a poor outcome.

Newer treatment option like ‘cardiac resynchronization therapy’ and sudden death prevention with implantable defibrillators in heart failure are emerging as other therapeutic options. These therapies have demonstrated to improve patient’s quality of life as well as improve their survival. The hospital has been implanting these devices for the last four years.

In an attempt to provide an update on the latest developments to doctor’s fraternity, CARE hospital is conducting a national symposium on 8th and 9th November at CARE hospital. Reputed faculty from all over the country is likely to take part in the symposium.
