The three-day annual Radiology Congress, organized by the Indian Radiological & Imaging Association, opened at Bangalore.
Carestream Health's newest product the single-cassette Kodak Directview Elite CR Systems that delivers exceptional versatility and value is being demonstrated in India for the first time. With this introduction, Carestream Health has revamped its Kodak Directview CR platform to further enhance image quality, improve technologist efficiency and increase ease of use. The Elite CR system accepts standard Directview CR cassettes and performs a wide range of exams that eliminates the need for additional CR units. The system also can help improve productivity and workflow with automatic image rendering that eliminates the need for technologists to identify each exam projection. It enables users to create customized settings for image presentation (by exam type/body part), which reduces the need for radiologists to make frequent adjustments.
The new Elite CR system is designed for hospitals, diagnostic imaging centres, multi-specialty clinics and private practices. It offers a throughput of up to 98 cassettes per hour, which includes loading, scanning, erasing and ejecting a 35 x 43 cm cassette.
