Cell Science Systems Ltd Corp (CSS), a global major in food sensitivity test, announced its entry into the Indian market with the launch of its first centre in India at Bangalore. The company is known for its Alcat test known to detect food intolerance.

The Indian operations kicked off with Cell Science awarding 'Food & Health Labs' as the first franchisee to offer The Alcat Test at Bangalore and Chennai.

The Alcat Test, which includes the Robocat II testing system, helps in the detection of food intolerance. Detecting food intolerance, which is the trigger of countless health issues, including obesity, irritable bowel, skin conditions, depression and migraines, is the basis of The Alcat Test. The Alcat Test differs from other food allergy or intolerance tests as it accurately and objectively measures leukocyte cellular reactivity in whole blood, which is a final common pathway of all mechanisms. The test utilizes electronic, state of the art, hematological instrumentation stated Roger Deutsch, Founder and CEO Cell Science.

"A tremendous amount of health problems have been linked to food intolerance including migraines, aching joints, fatigue, gastrointestinal disorders, eczema, hyperactivity, asthma and even obesity. The benefit to those who follow their Alcat test results include increased metabolic function, decreased cellular inflammation and an overall improved quality of life. This test is life-altering," stated Deutsch.

The test will identify exactly which foods and chemicals are triggering each individual's problems. "Our laboratory currently tests for over 250 foods, food additives, food colorings, environmental chemicals and even molds," he said.

The test can pinpoint one's personal 'trigger foods', foods as common as oranges or wheat, that are causing health problems and can give one clues on how to avoid being overweight. "By eliminating those trigger foods, you will lose weight and regain your health and energy naturally, but this is not the case of each obesity case. The test is especially useful for those persons who, after a clinical history, need a procedure of diagnosis and treatment of the alimentary intolerance which affects their health," said Kevin Garrity, COO, Cell Science.

The life sciences company focused is on offering relief for chronic inflammatory health conditions linked to common foods and chemicals. In fact, it is the worldwide market leader in food sensitivity testing as the maker of The Alcat Test. Located in Deerfield Beach, Florida, CSS is a FDA-inspected and registered, cGMP medical device manufacturer and operates a CLIA-certified laboratory.

The Alcat Test results are presented in an easy to understand, color-coded format that categorizes intolerances by 'severe', 'moderate', 'mild' or 'safe'. From there, a customized 4-day rotational diet is prescribed. After symptoms subside the 'severe' and 'moderate' foods may be reintroduced on a limited basis.

The Robocat II, a proprietary test platform, allows clinicians to objectively quantify reactions of leukocytes following in vitro exposure to food extracts, additives and chemicals, molds, common antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, and various other substances. Reactions are indicated by changes in size and population of white cells; and, secondarily, aggregation of platelets.

This test does not have any contraindications, as it is not a treatment. It just helps the diagnosis in case of food intolerance. But an incorrect use of the test is produced when the clinical history and other medical explorations show that we have an allergy and not intolerance.

The ALCAT Test is already available in the United Kingdom, Italy, Denmark, Australia, Thailand, South Africa, Spain, Mexico, Greece, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Lithuania, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina.
