Chemspec India attracts 290 companies from India, China, Europe and US
The ongoing Chemspec India 2006, the exhibition dedicated to fine and speciality chemicals, has participants from over 290 companies including India, China, Korea, Europe and the US. The exhibition is expected to attract nearly 10,000 visitors, with significant number of delegates from abroad.
Chemspec India, now in its second year, after the resounding success in Hyderabad in 2005, is organised by DMG World Media (UK), publishers of Specialty Chemicals, in association with Chemical Weekly. The two-day event is open for visitors on April 5 and 6, at the NSE grounds in Mumbai.
Some of the leading names participating from India include Matrix Laboratories, Divi's Laboratory, Jubiliant Organosys, Syngene, etc. Internationally renowned fine chemical companies such as BASF, LANXESS, Clariant, DowCorning, will also be participating.
Chemspec India offers the Indian industry an opportunity to showcase its capabilities to global audience and give a glimpse of what makes the "India advantage." The event follows in the footsteps of hugely popular Chemspec China held in Europe and China respectively, and maiden Chemspec India 2005 that saw an attendance of nearly 9,000 visitors at Hyderabad in February 2005.
