The Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI), a flagship hospital of the GP-CK Birla Group has received the ISO 9001-2000 Quality System certification.
Awarded by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), CMRI received this certification for showing significant improvement in the quality of services at all levels. This includes providing healthcare services for treatment of patients through various medical and surgical super specialities like nursing, para medical and lab services, patient frontline services and administrative services. Following this, the hospital is now one among the very few super specialty centers to receive this coveted certification, an official release said.
