The Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Centre of Coimbatore based 'Women's Centre' has been accorded the ISO 9001:2000 certification for achieving international standards in providing diagnostic and therapeutic services for comprehensive infertility management. The assessment and certification was made by Oozoa Biomedical Inc, Vancouver, Canada, according to a press communiqué.

Dr. Mridubhashini Govindarajan, Director of the Centre said that the Centre is the first in vitro fertilisation (IVF) to have an independent external quality audit by leading international scientific luminaries.
