Core Healthcare becomes Asia's first company to produce 1 billion bottles of IV fluids

Ahmedabad based Core Healthcare has become Asia's first company to produce 1 billion bottles of IV fluids. Market leader with strong 40 per cent market share, the Company attributes its success to the quality of the products, its international operations, vast distribution network and customer confidence.

Beaming on the success achieved by company since its inception, Nayan Rao, Director, Core Healthcare said, "The huge growth in production reflects the company's growth in full swing and overwhelming confidence of our customers and distributors in our products." Core Healthcare started its operations 14 years back with the plant capacity of 60 lakh bottles per annum and grew to the production of 21 crore bottles per annum making it world's largest plant producing this many bottles "under one roof."

The main trigger of such growth is the quality of the products. With various national and international quality certifications, Core Healthcare has contributed a lot towards improving the overall standards of product quality in the domestic market which has led to customer confidence and acceptability of the products. The main customers of Core healthcare include defence services, central / state government run hospitals, corporate hospitals and international AID agencies like UNICEF, WHO, UNHRC and Red Cross etc.

The huge supply chain of 600 outlets makes Core's products available across the length and breadth of the country. Other contributing factor is its international business as the company is registered with 70 countries. Core Healthcare's total production is exported to more than 70 countries spread across Latin America, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.
