The newly formed Chennai Pharma Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Company (CPIIUC), envisaged to upgrade the Pharma industry infrastructure in the state, is conducting a meeting on October 25 in Chennai to discuss the 'world scenario-pharma industry and cluster approach'.
D Rajendran, secretary, SSI, Government of Tamil Nadu will be the chief guest for the function. Prof. Dr. B Suresh, president of Pharmacy Council of India, will deliver the theme lecture 'Development of Pharma Industry in World Scenario'.
T Ravichandran, chairman of the Indian Drug Manufacturers Association (IDMA) Tamil Nadu branch, Vijay A Metha, president, Tamil Nadu Ayurvedic Siddha and Unani Drugs Manufacturers Association, B Sethuraman, president, Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Tamil Nadu and S Lakshminarayanan, secretary, Alathur Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association will detail on the subject 'needs of pharma industry'. Manohar S Singh, business partner, TUV Rheinland(India) Pvt. Ltd. will talk on CPIIUC-pharma cluster.
