Dance, health, fashion, cricket galore at IPC evenings

Along with the serious industry talks, business sessions and exhibition, the organizers have also arranged a host of attractive entertainment programmes for the evenings at IPC.

On the first day, a large-scale fashion show ‘Colours of India’ is being organized to highlight the rich diversity and culture, dress habits of the country. Sources related to the fashion show said it would stress to display and highlight healthy and hygienic aspects related to dresses and fashion.

Another highlight of the day is a light music programme by Lakshman Shruthi, a troupe from south India who is renowned in India and abroad, and musicians Harsha Raghavendra and Bharathiraja would lead it.

On the second day, there is to be a major dance programme depicting the rich tradition of Tamil Nadu. Kalai Kaveri, a leading troupe from Trichy will present the dance programme. Apart from this, a talk show by cricketers will be the added attraction of the day. Led by former Indian captain Krishnamachari Shrikanth, cricketers like WV Kumar, TA Sekhar, Bharath Reddy and VV Kumar are to participate in the talk show. Besides all this, renowned film actor Nazar and minister Ponnayyan will participate in the cultural events, said sources.
