DCGI clears 92 import registration applications during June 15 to July 15

The office of the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) has cleared 94 import registration applications during the last one-month (June 15 -July 15). This includes 12 formulations, 43 bulk drugs, 26 vaccines, eight critical diagnostic kits, four blood products and one medical device.

Twenty-one of the bulk drugs cleared for import are from China while eight are from Korea. Authorised marketing agents for most of these drugs are from Mumbai.

In the case of vaccines, 13 clearances, of which 11 are from Merial, France, have been given to GSK Pharma, New Delhi.
