Dimension Health & Fitness Studio, one of the leading health and fitness centres in Chennai, has expanded its facilities with modern equipments and ayurvedic care.

According to Deepak Swaminathan, director of Dimension Health & Fitness Studio, the centre has roped in the services of the Kottakkal Arya Vaidyasala to offer ayurvedic massages. For this, an exclusive facility has been started and the experts from the Kottakkal Vaidyasala, assisted with seasoned masseurs will attend to those who require an ayurvedic massage to rejuvenate the body.

Besides, the centre has started offering guidance on diet & nutrition, as nutritious food is an important aspect to maintain good health and fitness. A team of doctors led by Dr. Pharni Krishnan, the leading dietician in the city and president of the Chennai chapter of Indian Diabetic Association, would offer consultancy to the members of the studio, said Swaminathan at a press meet organized here this week.

He said the centre has added one more floor to the existing infrastructure with an overall 8,500 sq.ft, with 15 new state of the art fitness equipments. Now vascular exercise equipments are available in 1000 sq.ft. area and the multi-gender gym has 28 equipments spread over 3000 sq.ft. area.

Separate steam showers are available for men and women. The centre has facilities for yoga therapy, aerobics and calisthenics. The cardio vascular section is equipped with tread mill, upright cycles, steppers, elliptical trainers etc. said the director.
