Dr Batra's 21st clinic set up at Secunderabad, planning one at Chennai
Dr Batra's Positive Health Clinic Limited (DBPHCL), Mumbai, a leading homeopathic healthcare corporate has set up its 21st clinic in India at Secunderabad. The clinic is the second in Andhra Pradesh and will be headed by Dr Ramakrishna. The first clinic opened in Hyderabad in September 2002 has successfully treated over 3000 patients till date and has been growing at a rate of 200 per cent every year, Dr Mukesh Batra, CMD of DBPHCL said.
In a research study conducted by DBPHCL, it has been found that lifestyle related ailments like stress, hypertension and obesity are growing gradually and it wants to offer speciality treatment to these ailments. Women in Hyderabad are in a high-risk category with over 37 per cent of women in urban areas being reportedly obese.
Dr Batra revealed that in the last financial year, DBPHCL has registered an overall growth of approximately 70 per cent. The total number of patients visiting DBPHCL is over 2-3 lakhs per year. At Hyderabad about 22,000 patients have visited the Clinic in one year. The organization is planning to open a new clinic at Chennai early next week and also at Kolkata, New Delhi, and London. It is significant to note that the organization has earlier set up a clinic in Mauritius.
DBPHCL was set up in 1982 and has presence in about 13 cities in India and abroad. It is the first ISO certified homeopathic health institute in the country.
