Dr Batras' Positive Health Clinics has been awarded the prestigious 'Retailer of the Year' title at the Asia Retail Congress '09, which is Asia's most important and renowned professional body. Also Dr Mukesh Batra, founder and CMD, Dr Batras' Positive Health Clinic Pvt Ltd, has been appointed as homeopathic consultant to S C Jamir, governor of Maharashtra for a period of five years.
The annual event brings together the best of retail organizations under one roof represented by their presidents, CEOs and chairmen from over 60 countries. The theme for the current year was 'The Retail Renaissance' aimed at discussing and influencing the issues to bring about change in these unprecedented times. Other nominations in this category included Kaya Skin Clinic, VLCC and others. Some of the other winners in other categories included the Future Group, Airtel, Escada, HPCL and Westside.
One of the most coveted awards in Asia, the 'Retailer of the Year' Award is conferred on individuals or organizations that have demonstrated exemplary pioneering work in their respective fields to fuel the retail revolution. The award committee consists of senior, experienced retail professionals and experts from all across the world. This retail excellence award was conferred on Dr Batras' Positive Health Clinic Pvt Ltd for its contribution to propagate 'Beauty, Wellness and Fitness' through homeopathy and its effective utilisation through branded retail outlets across India and Asia.
A government committee headed by governor decided on to appoint Dr Batra as the consultant and the best doctors from major specialities of medicine were appointed.
