Dr. Lal PathLabs Pvt. Ltd. (LPL), an ISO 9001:2000 organization and the largest pathology and diagnostics chain based in Delhi has launched the innovative Executive Health Check-up package that would include testing of all the diseases, which emanate from sedentary life style and stress - the two most common elements of today's working conditions.

The well-conceived economical package, which is aimed at providing early diagnosis for problems like coronary artery disease (CAD), diabetes etc so that they can be controlled at an initial stage, would be available at all 9 advanced technology diagnostic labs of LPL across the country on an overall discounted rate of 30 per cent.

Designed by highly experienced team of doctors, the package would include fifteen critical tests to check the functionality of heart, lever, lungs, kidney etc. The package does not require any prescription and has in built feature of post check consultation by a doctor. The test is customized for men and women according to specific problems they are prone to.

Speaking on the launch of the package, Dr. Arvind Lal, managing director, Dr. Lal PathLabs Pvt. Ltd. said that the package was being launched due to a steep rise in lifestyle diseases in the recent past. "The Executive Health Check package is a proactive approach towards prevention of dreaded diseases like Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) wherein the package would be aimed at promoting good health among India's working population", said Dr Lal.

The executive test for women would be offered at Rs. 2,900 as it includes the Pap Smear test, which is used to detect cancer of the cervix, while the executive check up for men would be offered at Rs. 2,700.

Total diagnostic tests included in the package are Sugar fasting, Sugar PP, Creatinine, SGPT, Uric Acid, Lipid Profile basic, Haemogram, Blood group, Urine routine, X-ray chest, ECG, Ultra sound whole abdomen, Tread Mill Test (TMT), Pap Smear (for women) followed by post check up consultation.
