Ecron Acunova, a subsidiary of Take Solutions, bagged the ‘Bio Excellence Award under Bioservices category’ at the Bangalore India Bio 2016. The event is organised by the department of information technology, biotechnology and science & technology - government of Karnataka, in association with Vision Group on Biotechnology.

The Bio-Excellence awardees are selected by a jury of industry experts, constituted by the Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE), the trade body of the biotechnology sector.

EcronAcunova (EA) was presented the award by K. J. George, cabinet minister, Karnataka, in recognition of its outstanding contribution and pioneering work in the field of biotechnology. The ceremony was held in the presence of an august gathering of over 600 delegates; consisting of biotech industry captains, policy makers and the scientific fraternity and representatives from other participating companies like Biocon, Metahelix Life Sciences and Jubiliant Biosys.

Dr. D.A. Prasanna, founder, Ecron Acunova and Srinivasan H.R., vice chairman and managing director, Take Solutions received the award on behalf of the company.

Commenting on the occasion, Srinivasan said, that the award stands testimony to the company’s expertise in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device R&D including the growth areas of biosimilars, regenerative medicine and diagnostic imaging agent.
