"Diabetes in kids results from the destruction of their insulin-producing organ called Pancreas and is of a different nature as compared to diabetes in adults. This destruction could result from a immune reaction or a viral infection. These patients depend on insulin for their survival", he further added.
Right from the beginning of this year, Eli Lilly has been in the forefront of providing unique patient friendly services in the field of diabetes care. First, Lilly launched HumaCare in 2002 that had been providing services to thousands of insulin using diabetic patients.
