Fabtech Technologies bags BE's cleanroom order

Fabtech Technologies, a company involved in executing pharmaceutical projects, has bagged the contract for Design, Supply and Installation of Modular cleanroom panels at Biological E. Limited.

Biological E. Ltd. is setting up a state-of-the-art 100 per cent Export Oriented new vaccines facility at Shapoorji Pallonji Biotech Park at Shameerpet, on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The new facility is being set up as per WHO cGMP norms and is also to be certified by WHO. The WHO certification would help the company cater to the global needs of multilateral agencies, including UNICEF and PAHO, release from Fabtech said.

Pulla Reddy, senior manager, Projects of Fabtech, said, "This order is a vindication of our expertise and execution capabilities." He said the order includes 8500 sq. metres of wall panels, 5500 sq. metres of walkable ceilings, 350 doors and 320 view panels, Laminar Air Flow Uuits, Pass Boxes and Biological Safety Cabinets are also part of the supply.

Fabtech, part of the Mumbai-based Aircorp Group, which specializes in engineering, consultancy and turnkey execution of projects for the whole spectrum of pharmaceutical products across 15 countries in East Europe, Asia and Africa, is expecting to complete the US $1.20 million contract by this year end.
