Facts Foundation India in association with Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF), USA organised the prestigious 'Advanced Cardiovascular Solutions 2013' conference at HICC in Hyderabad.
ACVS India for the first time conducted sessions on basic cardiovascular sciences - BCVS Sessions in partnership with Association of Physicians of India. The first day of the conference gave insights into the latest and innovative techniques in cardiology. Over 1680 delegates from India and abroad and more than 200 faculty members have attended this landmark conference. The conference which began on August 8, continued till August 11, 2013.
BCVS sessions provided content on key relevant topics in cardiology for general physicians as well as clinical cardiologists. Interesting sessions for cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons, symposia for CV Nurse Technician with ACLS/BCLS and training sessions for the cathlab & CCU staff are some of the other important highlights of the conference.
While highlighting India’s expertise in healthcare Dr Guru Reddy, founder and chairman, Continental Hospitals said, “Today Indian doctors are well experienced and specialized in offering most of the therapies available anywhere in the world. The three-day conference mainly focused on giving live demo of complex, new procedures and technologies, transmitted from local, national and international sites with all academic institutes of excellence within India representing at the event. Talented physicians at these sites have demonstrated basic and advanced techniques for coronary, peripheral and structural intervention.
The Fellows’ Course which began on August 8, focused on both Echo & Angio CD rapid fire sessions, where trainees have got the masters in their respective fields.
