The fifth analytica Anacon India, the international trade fair and conference for analytical instrumentation, biotechnology, laboratory technology and services, will be held in Hyderabad from September 29 to October 1. It features a portfolio of exhibits addressing the analysis, laboratory-technology, diagnostics and biotechnology sector in India.

The event will prove to be a good opportunity for the decision-makers and users from the sectors for instrumental analysis, laboratory technology, diagnostics and biotechnology to gather information on the latest products and innovations. Several international companies recognized India's potential a long time ago and are forcing their way onto the market. As an established industry gathering, analytica Anacon India is the perfect place to make new contacts and generate potential leads. Besides new companies, several exhibitors who have been participating for years will be back in the autumn of 2009.

Some of the industry's important key players have already registered for the fifth analytica Anacon India. They include international companies such as BUCHI, Eppendorf, Millipore, Netzsch Gerätebau, Thermo Fisher, Shimadzu and Spinco. In addition, several new exhibitors from India and other countries will also be participating in this year's fair. Besides a German Pavilion, joint exhibits are also planned for companies from China, Great Britain and the Czech Republic.

"As in the past, the fifth analytica Anacon India will give companies an international platform where they can present the latest developments and innovations in the sectors for biotechnology, analysis, chemicals and pharmaceuticals and for the food industry. Rapidly growing interest underscores India's significance as an investment and sales market and demonstrates why more and more companies want to position themselves on the subcontinent," explains Klaus Dittrich, managing director of Messe München GmbH.

In addition to the trade fair, exhibitors and visitors can also attend the analytica Anacon Conference on two days of the fair. The conference is traditionally organized by the Indian Analytical Instruments Association (IAIA). It gives renowned scientists from around the world a platform where they can exchange information about the latest findings and developments. The primary focus of the 2009 conference is life science/biotechnology and quality control/assurance in food production and environmental analysis. These themes are also reflected in the 24 planned lectures that will be given by Indian and international speakers.
