For the first time, the French medical equipment industry will be participating in the MEDICAL FAIR INDIA , an international exhibition and conference on diagnostics, medical equipment and technology being held at at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai from March 12 to 14, 2010.
For participating in this expo, the Ubifrance Pavilion is gathering about 15 companies. Acknowledged for the quality of its equipment, France is gearing up to express the multiple aspects of its know-how. Surgical implants and medical imaging are particularly innovative and will bring most participants together. Turnkey hospitals, neonatalogy equipment, in-home care products and machines for single-use products will be some of the products and services on display.
The French medical equipment industry includes about 300 companies, mostly SMEs. They develop high-tech niche products, in partnership with French medico-surgical teams. The industry exports 30 to 40 per cent of its production, making France the seventh worldwide exporter.
