Fortis Hospitals has achieved yet another milestone on getting re-accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) for its Bannerghatta Road facility in Bangalore.
JCI is the Gold Standard in global healthcare standards and is the international arm of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, which evaluates quality standards of US hospitals. With this, Fortis Hospitals has become a part of an exclusive group of 270 hospitals worldwide, which have passed JCI's stringent clinical quality standards.
Accreditation is a visible commitment to improve the quality of patient care, service and safety. It is an effective quality evaluation and management tool. “The JCI evaluates quality standards of Hospitals across 1300 processes and follows stringent accreditation norms and procedures. The recognition sustained by the Bannerghatta Road facility showcases the kind of guidelines that has been maintained at the unit.
