Healthex 2010, a four-day medical global exposition will be held in Bangalore from July 16 to 19, 2010. The event, which is being held for the first time in the country is jointly organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Bangalore International Exhibition Services (BIES) at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) on the Peenya-Tumkur Road.
The international exhibition will display the latest medical & surgical equipments, devices, supplies, allied services-systems, disposables and consumables of manufacturers in India and abroad. Leading participants include Apollo, GE, Philips, 3M, BPL, Zimmer, Johnson & Johnson, Dispoline, Fischer & Packel, Dupont, Tata Motors, Zeal Medicals, SNG Group and Praxair whose range of products will find applications in the hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centres.
The key objective of the event is to bring together all aspects of the healthcare sector under one roof. The platform is viewed as an opportunity to tap sales orders and for business networking to discuss the technological advances in the space.
Along with the display of technological prowess of medical world, is a conference where experts will deliberate on the latest developments. The topics will cover oncology, role of robotic radio surgery in cancer care delivery, radiology, imaging, surgical technology & techniques, modernization of critical care medicine and ICUs, anaesthesiology, updates on clinical biochemistry among others.
