SIRO Clinpharm, a leading clinical research organisation was conferred with the Indian Clinical Research Organisation (CRO) of the year 2011 award by Frost & Sullivan. The award was presented in Mumbai by Dr Ajaykumar Sharma, pharmaceutical practice head, Frost & Sullivan, Middle East & India.

While presenting the award, Dr Sharma stated, "SIRO Clinpharm’s experience of conducting a large number of clinical trials, some of which duly inspected by regulatory authorities like FDA, EMEA and DCGI across India and Europe coupled with its strong capabilities in clinical data management, biostatistics and medical writing, undoubtedly makes it one of the leaders in clinical research space. One of the first CROs to be founded in India, SIRO has come a long way in establishing a pan global presence and its recent launch of operations in Malaysia has helped SIRO expand its footprint into the Asia pacific continent."

The award citation refers to SIRO Clinpharm’s leadership and accomplishments exemplified in the Indian CRO space. SIRO Clinpharm was honoured for its increased visibility and reach in expanding its services overseas, which has helped the company to attain new customers and gain higher customer satisfaction. SIRO has shown consistent growth by reaching out to varied geographies from India, Malaysia and European countries and soon the company also plans to start operations in Philippines.
