Govt of India invites applications for filling up of pharmacists post in CGHS, Hyderabad
The department of health, government of India, has invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up of vacant posts of pharmacists under various categories of Allopathic, Homoeopathy, and Ayurveda and Unani streams across different healthcare wellness centres run under Central Government’s Health Scheme (CGHS) in Hyderabad.
At present there are about 14 healthcare wellness centres running under CGHS scheme in Hyderabad. However the pharmacists’ posts in these wellness centres have been left unfilled since past 4-5 years due to which the poor patients are facing lot of problems as there are no adequate staff to dispense medicines in these centres.
Currently there are 30 vacant pharmacists’ posts in all the 14 CGHS wellness centres across Hyderabad. Of them 23 vacant posts for allopathic pharmacists, 2 pharmacists post each in Ayurveda and Homoeopathy and 3 posts in Unani medical stream have been given notification to be filled by the Central government.
Interested candidates fulfilling the educational qualifications and experiences mentioned in the notification have to submit their applications online and the after verifying all the details of credentials of the applicants will conduct an online examination on 26th and 27th June, 2018.
The last date for applying online is May 28, 2018 and the candidates who wish to apply for the post of Allopathic Pharmacists must have passed 12th standard with physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognised board or university. In addition to this, a pass in diploma in Pharmacy with two years of experience is mandatory. All the pharmacists must have registered with Pharmacy Council of India as pharmacists under the pharmacy Act 1948.
Similarly, candidates who wish to apply for vacancies under Homeopathy pharmacists should have 12th class passed with Chemistry Physics and Biology as major subjects from a recognised board. In addition to this a diploma or certificate course in Homoeopathy pharmacy of at least one year duration are eligible.
For candidates who wish to apply for ayurvedic pharmacists post must either have a degree in ayurvedic stream of medicine or should have passed diploma in ayurvedic pharmacy course not less than 2 years duration. The candidates should also have a 2 years experience of working in an ayurvedic dispensary to be eligible for applying the vacancy of ayurvedic pharmacists.
