Dr. LH Hiranandani Multi-specialty Hospital, situated at Powai, Mumbai, has launched its ICU operations, according to a press release.

The newly launched ICU has 32 beds with a structure comprising large cubicles helps to prevent cross infections and provides the patient a sense of comfort and space.

The state-of-the-art monitoring facility comprises bedside monitors that are all connected to the central monitor where data from individual beds is retrieved and processed. Advanced IT infrastructure and electronic networking makes the hospital a High Dependency Unit (HDU) so that all patients can be carefully monitored from the Intensive Care Unit, the hospital claims.

Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital will offer all major medical disciplines with thrust on Ambulatory Care, Haemato-Oncology, Endoscopie surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Endocrinology and Critical Care including the latest Cardiac Care facility, the release says.
