ICRI to open new campus at Ahmedabad with 150 seats

Pioneering institution in clinical research studies, Institute of Clinical Research (India) [ICRI] today announced the opening of its new campus at Ahmedabad with a capacity of 150 students and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

ICRI also has campuses in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. The campus will go live this session in August 2007. Dr Shruti Shukla is the Principal of the Ahmedabad campus, said a release here.

Dr S K Gupta, Dean & Director General, Institute of Clinical Research (India) commenting on this occasion said; "We felt the need for an institute in Gujarat and hence this campus. In fact, Gujarat is fast emerging as the hub of prestigious institutes, having housed IIM, NID, NIFD and also IIT, very recently. We are proud to announce this campus in Ahmedabad.''

Principal Dr Shruti Shukla, having worked with Synchron, Reliance and Cadilla, is highly experienced and has over a decade experience in this segment.

ICRI is India's first and only Clinical Research institution offering a MSc. in Clinical Research and is created primarily to address the demand for qualified and trained professionals globally. Additionally, the institution boasts of a placement cell that helps students jump-start their careers. The courses offered at ICRI prepare the students for the ICR (UK) and ACRP exams also.

ICRI has also entered into an academic alliance with Europe's leading research led institution, Cranfield University, UK. This alliance will help ICRI in its motive to educate the students in the field of clinical research at global standards and gives a good opportunity to the youth of Gujarat to study abroad.
