IDMA-APA to organise Pharmaceutical Analysts' Convention in Mumbai on Oct 9, 10

The Indian Drug Manufacturers' Association (IDMA) and the Association of Pharmaceutical Analysts (APA) will jointly organise the 12th Pharmaceutical Analysts' Convention (PAC) 2009 on October 9 & 10 in Mumbai.

The main theme of this year's convention is 'The Analyst: An Agent To Enhance Excellence'. US FDA and UK MHRA CEOs have been invited to make presentations at this prestigious convention.

Some of the topics proposed to be covered at PAC 2009 are as under: Role of Analyst in compiling an excellent CTD; Vendor Approval for starting material; Risk Management; Effective OOS Investigation; Tracking & Trending impurities; Reference substances; and Microbiological tests and assays; Setting specifications for modified release dosage forms; Quality audit trail-ready at any time; Patenting analytical techniques, Impurity references substances-procurement, maintenance and use; and Speed 2 productivity in impurity profiling and routine analysis.

The two-day event will be an excellent opportunity for the analysts working in the pharmaceutical industry, R&D Institutions, government laboratory and approved testing laboratories.
