An interactive meeting was organised by IDMA with the delegation of leading pharmaceutical company heads under the auspices of KPMA held on 21st November 2005 in Mumbai. An MoU between IDMA and KPMA was signed and exchanged by the presidents of the organisations.

The meeting was hosted by Bilcare Ltd., one of the leading companies in pharma packaging research.

Suresh G. Kare, president IDMA, emphasised the importance of India-Korea partnership in the field of pharmaceuticals and APIs.

IDMA secretary-general, Daara B. Patel made a presentation on the Indian pharmaceutical industry and Tae Sun Cha, deputy general manager, KPMA made a presentation on Korean pharmaceutical industry.
