The Indian Drug Manufacturers Association (IDMA) has opened a separate chapter for the tax holiday states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. RC Juneja, managing director of Mankind Pharma, is the chairman of the new IDMA chapter.

Other office-bearers of the new IDMA chapter include BR Sikri, secretary, Vinod Kalani, treasurer and Sanjay Guleria, vice chairman.

BR Sikri said that more than 50 members have already been enrolled by the new IDMA chapter. The IDMA has opened the new chapter as part of its drive to increase the number of members. The IDMA plans to raise the number of its members from the existing 650 to 1000, he said.
